About
Named after Oklahoma’s own scissor-tailed flycatcher.
A bird known for its precision in flight — and its home right here in Oklahoma City.
Jeanpierre Edmister
Founder, Scissortail Ledger
Scissortail Ledger was built on a simple idea: small businesses deserve the same accuracy and attention as big companies — without getting lost in a big firm’s client list.
Founder Jeanpierre Edmister is a certified Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and works directly with every client — no hand-offs, no account managers relaying messages. Just one point of contact who actually knows your business.
Based in Oklahoma City, Scissortail Ledger serves solo entrepreneurs and small businesses across the OKC metro who need their books handled by someone who picks up the phone.
Outside the office, Jeanpierre is a father who spends most of his free time with family — when he’s not there, you’ll probably find him around aviation, traveling, or competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
